Help Provide Emergency Housing to Those in Need
Without a safe place to go, many victims will remain in dangerous or unhealthy situations. CAPSEA's emergency shelter remains one of its most critical resources. Last year the small nonprofit provided 1,475 nights of housing to those in need. Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, our shelter had to shut its doors for months and now is limited to one family at a time. As a result, temporary housing in hotels has skyrocketed, and an evening in a hotel is 3x more expensive than an evening in the shelter.

We're calling on our supporters to join us over the next 30 days to raise enough money to provide a family of 3 housing for 3 weeks. TOGETHER we can provide victims of domestic violence or abuse with a safe place to go while they determine their next steps - a critical need for those hoping to escape an unhealthy relationship.
