Lianne Schneider CAPSEA Community Outreach Nonprofit Coordinator in Elk County and Cameron County

Lianne joins CAPSEA’s team as the new Community Outreach Coordinator and Incredible Years educator. The role is critical in helping CAPSEA foster lasting relationships with residents and businesses in the Elk and Cameron County communities.

As a lifelong resident of Elk County, I am excited to be working with CAPSEA as the Community Outreach Coordinator and Incredible Years educator.  Throughout my career, I had the privilege of working with many individuals and families in our community.

In my first few months with the nonprofit, I have already had the opportunity to work with Holy Rosary Preschool, St Marys Middle School, and Elk County Prison.  I have also been involved with Ridgway’s Business trick or treat, Shop Small Saturday, and the Cheer Tour, as well as the Cameron County Collaborative board and the Elk and Cameron Suicide Task Force.

I look forward to continuing to support local schools, community groups, and professionals in Cameron and Elk counties by developing CAPSEA’s educational programming and in-person trainings.

Personally,  I have been married to my wonderful husband, George, for 28 years.  I have been blessed with two children: Hannah, 25, and Brady, 22.  I also have an amazing dog, Nittany, and a sweet grand dog, Mitzie.  Outside of work, I enjoy the beach, reading, Penn State football, music, and traveling.
