The countdown to CAPSEA’s Cupid Cupcake Competition has begun and we’re inviting all Elk and Cameron County residents to submit their best and most beautiful cupcakes for a friendly community-wide fundraising competition.

How Supporters Can Participate

Join Us on
February 13th

Community members are invited to join us from 12-5 p.m. on February 13th at the CAPSEA office (9 South Mill Ave) to purchase these delectable creations to take home. $2/cupcake or $10 for a half dozen. Every cupcake purchase means more votes!

Every $1 = 1 vote and the submission with the most votes by the morning of Thursday, February 15th will be the prize winner! 

Can’t attend the competition in person? No problem! 

Join us on Facebook and Instagram live where a panel of community members will taste test the submissions and cast their votes for their favorites.

Photos of the cupcakes will also be shared to our Instagram and Facebook pages where you will be able to vote for your favorite cupcake based on presentation.

Online Voting: Visit capsea.org/donate to donate via Paypal or submit your donation via Venmo –  @capsea. Remember to note which submission you’re voting for! Voting ends at 9 a.m. Thursday, February 15th.

Please note that all donations from the competition will directly fund the life-saving services that CAPSEA offers to survivors of domestic violence, abuse, sexual assault, and violent crimes in Elk and Cameron County. Every donation makes a difference.

How Bakers Can Participate

Step 1: If interested in participating, you will first need to sign up online by filling out the form on this page or by calling our office at 814-772-3838.

Step 2: The cupcake fun begins! Each participant will need to bake a minimum of one dozen cupcakes to be submitted and entered into the competition, but more are certainly welcomed!

Step 3: The one dozen cupcakes will need to be dropped off at CAPSEA’s offices on February 12th from 8am to 5pm or February 13th from 8am to 10am. Day-of submissions are also accepted, but please arrive no later than 10 a.m. on Feb. 13th. Our team will also be offering a pickup of contestants cupcakes, if needed.
